Applications
An Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Verification System for food and pharmaceutical industries is an automated machine vision system designed to read, capture, and verify alphanumeric text, codes, and human-readable printing on product packaging, labels, or containers.
Unlike traditional barcode readers that scan machine-readable lines, OCR technology optically "reads" printed characters—such as text, numbers, and dates—and compares them against a predefined master database or expected format in real time.
