3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data mainly to respond to your enquiries. This includes preparing quotations and commercial proposals, answering technical questions, and scheduling and running product demonstrations, factory visits and production-line assessments.
Where you buy from us, we use your personal data to deliver, install, commission and validate equipment, and afterwards to maintain and support it. This includes supplying spares, providing remote diagnostics and on-site servicing, and handling warranty and annual maintenance contract (AMC) obligations.
We may also use your contact details to send you relevant product information, invitations to exhibitions and events where we are present, and technical articles from our Insights section. You may opt out of these marketing communications at any time.
In addition, we use personal data to operate and secure the Website, to prevent fraudulent or automated form submissions, and to diagnose technical problems. We also use it to meet our tax, accounting, export and other legal obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We process personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and for the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as performing a contract you have requested or complying with the law. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
The Website links to our pages on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook and YouTube, and may contain embedded content such as videos and maps. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited the third party's website directly, and those third parties may collect data about you under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to read their policies.
6. How We Share Personal Data
We share personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We may share it with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, form-processing, CRM and IT support providers, all of whom must keep it confidential.
We may also share it with authorised distributors, channel partners and service engineers who handle your enquiry, installation or service request in your region. Similarly, our logistics and freight partners receive the details they need to deliver equipment and spares, and our professional advisers, such as auditors, chartered accountants and lawyers, may receive personal data in the course of their work for us.
We will disclose personal data to government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where the law requires it or where it is necessary to protect our legal rights. If True Care Technology is involved in a merger, acquisition or restructuring, personal data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to protections equivalent to those in this policy.
7. International Transfers
Our systems are installed on production lines in India and abroad. If you are located outside India, or if our service providers process data outside India, your personal data may be transferred across borders. Any such transfer will be carried out in compliance with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiries that do not lead to business are generally kept for up to 24 months from our last communication, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Customer records are kept for the working life of the equipment and the support relationship, and for any further period required by tax, accounting and other laws, which in India is generally up to eight years. Server and security logs are kept for up to 12 months. When personal data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it securely.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include encrypted (HTTPS) transmission, access controls and spam and bot protection on our forms.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and the affected individuals as required by law.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and of how we process it. You may also ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data, and to erase data that is no longer needed, unless we must keep it by law.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, although this will not affect any processing we carried out before you withdrew it. You may also nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request or complaint, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India. To exercise any of these rights, please email info@truecaretech.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
11. Children's Privacy
The Website and our products are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe that a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
